Happy Thanksgiving!

Local foliage showing off.

It’s been quite the weekend. I was sick. We had out-of-town guests. I discovered weevils in the rice. (Thankfully nowhere else!) The weather went from nearly 30C down to almost 0C— air conditioning to furnace in no time flat. This also meant I had to harvest all remaining tomatoes from the garden and bring my geraniums indoors. I didn’t quite get to picking all the apples from the tree as I’d hoped. Soon. And then it’s time to make mincemeat.

We got a new gate. Freya is not impressed, but she does get quite excitable when we have guests, and we don’t want her to knock anyone over. Very rarely we need to contain her to one room while we are out all day, so we will see if this gate can handle her. She hasn’t destroyed anything else lately. We have our fingers crossed that she may be finally maturing. Now that the cooler temperatures have arrived, she wants to be outside all the time. The wind is icy, and she’s perfectly happy to chill out on the grass. Time to break out my long johns.

I have the cover art for Book 3! Which is great timing because the book is almost done.

And that means I’m recruiting for my ARC Team! If you don’t mind writing a few lines of an honest review, I’ll send you an advanced copy of Book 3. Just fill out this application: https://forms.gle/kjvWT1mo9a6Pkeyc7

If you haven’t joined my Facebook group, you might be surprised to see who’s winning the duels in the Which Witch tournament! This is a fun game I’m running for the month of October to countdown to Halloween. Come on over and join us!
